Tasneem Siddiqui

Tasneem Siddiqui is the Executive Director of the Refugee and Migratory Movements Research Unit, Bangladesh’s premier migration thinktank and a former Professor of Department of Political Science, University of Dhaka. She led the drafting of the National Strategy for Internal Displacement in Bangladesh 2021, The National Action Plan 2022, The Overseas Employment Policy 2006. She is on the advisory boards of state-led international initiative, PDD and IDMC. She serves as the elected South Asia Representative to the Global Board of Global Network of Civil Society Organisations for Disaster Reduction.
